Where is Live Wire 2024?
The conference is at Austin Proper Hotel, 600 W 2nd St, Austin, TX 78701.
How much does Live Wire cost to attend?
There’s no cost to attend.
Live Wire is an invite-only event with limited spaces.
Each invitation includes the cost of up to 2 nights accommodations as well as all onsite activities starting with dinner on December 4, and a full day on December 5 inclusive of breakfast, lunch, and a closing happy hour reception.
Where will I stay?
All Live Wire registrants will stay at Austin Proper Hotel, where the day’s events on December 5 will be located.
The hotel is less than 20 minutes by car from the Austin-Bergstrom International Airport. Please arrange your own transportation to the hotel.
Once there, we’ll take care of everything else!
Where is the December 4 welcome dinner?
Austin is home to numerous award-winning restaurants, where we’ll gather as small groups.
After you are fully registered, you will receive a calendar invite with the location of your dinner.
Each restaurant is within walking distance of your hotel.
Do I need a conference badge?
Yes, your conference badge will be in the welcome kit that you’ll receive during hotel check-in.
If you don’t receive it for whatever reason, please stop by the Registration Desk with your government-issued ID between 7:30-9:00am on December 5 to grab your badge and welcome kit.
The Registration Desk will be just outside the entrance to the Live Wire event space at Austin Proper Hotel.
What is expected of me during the Workshops?
Learning from peers was cited as one of the top interests by Live Wire registrants. You’ll participate in small group discussions centered around the topics of education, insurance, technology, and incident response spaced throughout the day.
Don’t worry - you don’t need to prepare anything. Just bring your energy and intellectual curiosity!
